Heliarko 1.0.21: what it is — and what it is not
The edition now in closed testing.
Heliarko 1.0.21 is the edition our closed testers use today.
It is a working program, not a finished one.
Here is what already works, what remains unfinished and what we want early testers to tell us.
One private Capsule on your own computer.
Heliarko 1.0.21 is a program for Windows 10 and 11.
Your Capsule lives in one folder on your computer, or on a drive you choose.
Your originals stay ordinary files, byte for byte, readable without Heliarko.
- The Vault
- Your material in one archive, searchable by meaning, also without the internet.
- Identity
- Memoirs, family, key moments, voice, values and an interview of life questions.
- Workspace
- Documents, tasks and a calendar, all on your own computer.
- Synapse
- Online AI that works with what you choose to give it.
- Messenger
- Messages and files between Capsules, sealed before they leave your computer.
- Settings
- Five languages, large text, your PIN and a backup in one file.
Updated while you use it.
Since its release on 20 October, Heliarko 1.0.21 has received several updates.
They arrive inside the program: you confirm once, and it updates itself.
For an ordinary question about your own material, Synapse first searches your Capsule on your computer and sends the online AI a few short passages, not your whole archive.
What Synapse remembers across conversations is kept in Documents › AI Memory, where you can read, edit or delete it.
Messenger shows your contacts by the names they chose.
The Vault opens faster.
Not finished. Not magic.
Not a finished product: it is a closed test.
Not for every computer: it runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
Not encrypted on disk: protect your computer and keep two backups.
Not an AI that is always right: check what matters against your own originals.
Not yet able to read text inside photographs and scans, or to transcribe recordings.
Not yet quick with very large archives: preparing them for search by meaning takes time.
Not yet reliable with longer tasks for Synapse, such as preparing or editing a document.
Tell us where it fails you.
Where you got lost.
What you expected and did not find.
Where it felt slow.
Where Synapse was wrong — and how you noticed.
Whether your language reads naturally.
Taking part in the test is free.
One letter is enough.
