- Where does my Capsule live?
- In one folder on your own computer, or on a drive you choose.
- Can I open my files without Heliarko?
- Yes. Your originals are stored as ordinary files, byte for byte, and stay readable without it.
- What works without the internet?
- Your archive, Identity, Workspace, search by meaning and backups. Your personal license is checked on your computer.
- Where does a question to the AI go?
- You choose what Synapse may use before its first request. The request passes through Heliarko’s server to our AI provider, Nebius, in Finland.
- What if Heliarko stops?
- Your Capsule keeps working on your computer. AI, Messenger and updates stop.
Keep two backupsFiles on disk are not encrypted. Protect your computer, and keep two backups in different places: Settings → Backup makes one file with everything.

Heliarko does not promise to bring a person back. It should never pretend that software is a human being.
But a person can leave more than files: their stories, in their own words, made deliberately for the people who may one day want to understand.
